The concept revolves around a series of three illuminated boxes. Each box varies in terms of interior atmosphere and exterior perforations.

The exterior faces of each box have different designs, allowing light patterns to be created on the exterior. The minimal interiors are covered with white fabric, producing a soft illumination without affecting the work displayed.

The space showing projections is not lit in the same way, ensuring the light does not disturb the images being shown. Luminance from outside the box will still be seen due to the light transmitted from the projections, producing flickering strips of light on the side elevations.

Outside these spaces it is proposed to place two walls for viewing two-dimensional work. This separation from the interior spaces considers circulation, alternating from open to enclosed areas of exhibition.

SPACE 1 : PORTFOLIO
Within this space shelving will accommodate for the portfolios whereby, each has equal access. Below the shelving Unit A space has been made for additional portfolios to be displayed. This also allows for easy rotation throughout the days.

SPACE 2 : PROJECTIONS
The space has been dedicated to the projections. This allows visitors to separate themselves from the activities elsewhere. Perforations have been kept to a minimum and there is no additional artificial light.

SPACE 3: PRINT SAMPLES
Inside this space the print samples can be pinned up onto the fabric faces. If required, there is also space to accommodate for the V-Shaped textures. Alternatively, the work can be projected.
