In 2015, FIMA was commissioned to oversee the planning process for this Grade II* Listed Building on behalf of our client.

The complexity of this project involved acquiring Listed Building Consent and the Heritage approval from Westminster City Council as well as the coordination and approval from the Landlords and the Covent Garden Area Trust.

 

Planning Permission was awarded in 2017, FIMA then coordinated the UK Tender process and acted as Construction Architect  and Contract Administrator during Stage 5. 

 

The restaurant is arranged over 3 floors, Ground, First and Basement. The basement is a collection of vaulted spaces, that connected to other market units in Covent Garden, that needed further excavation to be used as a habitable eating space.

 

 Vyta’s intervention has participated to the transformation of Covent Gardens dinning scene and has improved the urban atmosphere of the famous Covent Garden square.
